Programmes

Activities, events and products at AIMH fall into twelve distinct programmes, all of which are driven by the research faculty. All programmes are long term and ongoing, some of which contain time-bound projects. While some programmes are fully functional, others are evolving, and a few are still in the planning stage.

    The Army Institute of Military History

    Preserve and promote the military history of Pakistan and the history of the Pakistan Army, while acting as the center of excellence for studying military history, and providing a forum for open-source intellectual input to the Pakistan Army, through two-way interaction with academia and civil society.
