Chawinda Hall

This lecture hall is named after the Battle of Chawinda, Sialkot Sector 1965 War, where the Indian 1st Armoured Division was brought to a halt by a much smaller Pakistani force consisting elements of 6th Armoured Division. It defined the outcome of the whole war, as the failure of this defensive effort would have meant seeing the Indians reach the Grand Trunk Road between Gujranwala and Lahore.

The hall can seat sixty-two spectators, with three on the stage, and a rostrum.
